We added a mailbox this year. We are still registering some new children so we will have to add on a box for additional spaces. We will add stamps and envelopes to motivate and inspire children’s writing. We have brought literacy to all the centres and the mailboxes provide another “real” reason for children to read and write.

One huge change from last year is now the children know where everything is so we don’t have to be finding things for them. The children are so much more independent and that has really freed us up to work more closely and more purposefully with children while they are at the centres.
