		<description>I used the cone coffee filters, and they were a bit larger than the basket ones.  We have also used thin paper, folded it in half, cut the shape and then had the children paint only half the butterfly.  We then got them to fold it again and rub the 2 halves together.  That way, when they opened it, both sides were identical.  Using the thin paper allows to create larger butterflies.  I am glad you are enjoying the site! 		<description>I also have caterpillars in my kindergarten classroom. They recently emerged from their chrysalis as painted lady butterflies. I had the class do the tye-dye craft to make butterflies. They turned out beautiful! Just like stained glass. The only thing I would change is that I wish I could have found larger coffee filters. Any suggestions?
